From a Side Hustle to a Local Furniture Store
Fontaine’s Furniture is a locally owned furniture store in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Nick Fontaine began buying and reselling used furniture at just 16 years old, growing the business throughout high school. Along the way, he discovered a passion for providing Wisconsin families with quality, affordable furniture—but most importantly, for building a truly customer-focused business that always puts people first.
Today, Fontaine’s Furniture offers brand-new furniture for every area of the home, backed by personal care, honest service, and dependable local support. Giving back also remains a major part of who we are. Fontaine’s is committed to donating reusable secondhand furniture to families in need, helping quality furniture find a second life in the community.

What started with selling my mom’s dining room table on Facebook Marketplace into a full retail furniture store. Learn a little about my journey, how I got started, and what started Fontaine's to where I am today.
My listed my parents old dining table on Facebook marketplace, Sold it in a few days and from there I was hooked!
I started buying sofas on marketplace and continued to buy and resell sofas throughout highschool
My parents basement was overflowing with couches and they were ready to have their house back 😅
I signed my first warehouse lease in December 2023
I continued to grow the business and buy and resell sofas at a bigger scale
I went to my first furniture market in High Point NC April 2025
I purchased my first Truckload of new furniture May 2025
After trial and error, we found success in selling brand new USA made sofas. We transitioned to selling all brand new and expanded our warehouse into a retail showroom!
After a successful year of running a retail furniture store, we hit a limit. We knew we could bring better value and more options with a larger space...
Signed a lease for a furniture storefront triple the space, still in New Berlin, Still on National Avenue. Opening November 2026. God is good!
